Copy an entire disk as a raw image from one HDD to another with a data recovery tool for bad sectors:
Roadkil's RawCopy copies a disk as a raw image from one drive directly to another. This utility is designed for people who have faulty drive and want to transfer the data directly to another drive without doing a file by file copy. This saves the need for operating system re-installs and allows drives with an unknown file system to be copied (including from console game machines, data recorders, mac etc).
RawCopy has a built in data recovery function which will attempt to recover data from bad sectors to ensure all the available data is restored from the drive. This program is designed to run under newer versions of Windows and for logical drives, also older versions.
RawCopy is software which can clone files and directories.
RawCopy is licensed as Freeware for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system / platform from backup software without restrictions. RawCopy 1.2 is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
Compatibility with this disk copier software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Roadkil.
